21st Annual Women of Action
Join us for the 21st Annual Women of Action, ICRF Montreal’s signature event celebrating inspiring women while raising critical funds for cancer research.
For more than two decades, Women of Action has brought together hundreds of women from Montreal’s business, professional and philanthropic communities in support of ICRF’s mission.
This year, we are thrilled to welcome six-time Olympic medalist, author and advocate Aly Raisman as our featured speaker.
KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Aly Raisman
Aly Raisman is a six-time Olympic medalist and team captain of the gold medal winning USA Women’s Gymnastics teams in 2012 and 2016. The most decorated U.S. gymnast at the 2012 Games, Raisman captured the hearts of millions as she became the first American to win gold on the floor exercise and landed a silver medal performance in the All-Around competition at the 2016 Games.
A leader on and off the floor, Raisman uses her platform to help normalize the conversation around mental health, encourage positive body image and promote the importance of self-care. In her New York Times best-selling memoir, Fierce, she shares the highs and lows of her journey, including her survival of sexual abuse. Additionally, Raisman’s NYT best-selling children’s book, From My Head to My Toes, gently introduces young readers to the topics of consent and bodily autonomy in a positive way. Inspired by an army of survivors, Raisman continues to advocate for the eradication of sexual abuse.
