Her international best-selling book, Thank You Power: Making the SCIENCE of Gratitude Work for YOU details with striking precision the connection between gratitude and enhanced cognitive function and energy. The book was a New York Times best-seller as well as a best-seller in South Korea. Norville was also the co-author and contributor to the popular Chicken Soup for the Soul series and the author of several other self-help books including two best-selling children’s books and a number of books featuring knit and crochet patterns. Norville is an advocate for self-care. Mitsou Gélinas has brightened Québec’s cultural landscape since she was a child. She has been a singer, an actress and a magazine director. One in two Canadians will be diagnosed with cancer
One in four will die from the disease.
That was before Covid-19.
It is critical that our work to find a cure continues.
Cancer is the leading cause of death in Canada.
It is estimated that in 2020, 225,800 Canadians will be diagnosed with cancer, and, 617 Canadians will die from cancer every day.
During these demanding times, the cancer community is especially vulnerable. Cancer patients are largely an elderly population, immuno-suppressed due to chemotherapy, are experiencing significant treatment delays and a lack of access to physicians.
The need to support basic science and clinical research programs of our leading medical institutions both in Montreal and Israel, is greater than ever. is especially vulnerable during these demanding times.
